How to unlock your Hard disk

Hi. I will show you how to unlock your hard disk that suddenly asking for password. This tips only for SEAGATE hard disk. Firstly, you need to download software name MHDD. After you finish download it, burn the freeware program to cdrom. When the burning is complete. Please restart you notebook with this cd inserted. Install back your lock hard disk (the one that asking for password) into your notebook.




Follow the this step:

1. Power on your notebook. Just press enter when the password box appear until it mention HDD LOCK.
Then your notebook will booting on CD.

2. The program will look like this appear.
 

3. Key in HDD number (the lock hdd) and press ENTER.

4. Key in this word - UNLOCK then press ENTER.

5. Key in - 1 then press ENTER.

6. Key in - Seagate ( follow with 25 times spacebar) then press ENTER.

7. Key in - DISPWD then press ENTER.

8. Key in - 1 then press ENTER.

9. Key in - Seagate (follow with 25 times spacebar)

Check the upper letter "ERR" - If it not highlight with RED color, it means the operation to UNLOCK HDD is success. Then exit the program and  restart your notebook.
